About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales for the North America region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all commercial functions, including the development and execution of the commercial strategy, and will have full P&L ownership. This role involves identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with key customers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and leading a sales team to achieve and exceed budgeted sales and gross margin. The Head of Sales will also be involved in strategic negotiations, ensuring the team meets all reporting and administrative requirements, and driving performance through coaching and development. Applicants for the Head of Sales position must have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with at least 15 years' experience in automotive sales and business development. A minimum of 3 years in a sales and commercial leadership role within the automotive sector is required, with a strong preference for those with experience in wiring, electrical distribution systems, and similar areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Tier 1 customers, solving complex technical problems, and a strong hunter mentality for business development. Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a global organization and travel within the US and Mexico.
