About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property and Commercial Contract matters to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor, leading complex IP and contract negotiations, and providing strategic counsel on patent prosecution and licensing. This role requires extensive experience in IP law, complex commercial contracts, and business transactions, particularly within the technology or semiconductor sectors. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for supporting the company's IP strategy, managing IP portfolio, and overseeing competitive landscape analysis. Additionally, the role involves leading cross-functional legal projects, enhancing contract templates, and ensuring compliance with laws and business objectives. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, be an active member in good standing with the bar, and have 6-10 years of experience in IP law and technology transactions, with a similar duration in commercial contracts for publicly traded companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-stakes IP and contract matters, exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while providing strategic legal counsel. Experience in the semiconductor industry or technology sector transactions is essential, and previous in-house counsel experience, particularly with international transactions and cross-border legal matters, is a plus. The role demands a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and a commitment to providing business-oriented legal solutions.
