About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Construction Management to join its Design & Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of active development and repositioning projects, with a focus on office and residential assets. This role requires a construction professional with a minimum of 15 years' experience, including expertise in technical project management, financial discipline, and the ability to make sound judgments on complex multi-stakeholder developments. The VP will be the primary internal point of contact for construction, working closely with asset management, finance, legal, and design consultants to ensure contract compliance and milestone documentation. Additionally, the role involves project oversight and reporting, draw management, construction finance, and full development lifecycle ownership. Applicants for the Vice President, Construction Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a proven track record of managing third-party developers and property managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical capability, the ability to evaluate budgets, schedules, and risks across multiple projects, and a collaborative approach to partnering with various teams. Responsibilities also include monitoring residential operations for compliance, leading the construction-to-operations transition, and supporting pre-acquisition and development opportunity vetting.
