About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance, accounting, human resources, and administration functions. The CFO will play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and evolution, providing strategic financial leadership and ensuring that the vision is translated into disciplined execution. This includes stewarding the organization's multi-year planned reserve investment strategy, partnering with the CEO and development leadership on financial planning, and supporting the completion of the strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a nonprofit environment and have experience in investment oversight and partnership with nonprofit Boards. Key responsibilities for the CFO include systems design and strategy, financial and administrative management, and team management. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the Board, with a focus on clear communication, and will lead a dedicated finance and administration team with a collaborative and emotionally intelligent approach. The CFO will also be responsible for maintaining strong financial discipline, managing financial complexity, and advancing long-term sustainability. Adaptability, change leadership, and the ability to integrate and align across the organization are essential, as the role involves navigating a dynamic, evolving environment and driving follow-through during a critical phase of growth and maturation.
