About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organization into a new chapter of growth and impact. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and approachable executive, with a minimum of ten years' progressive nonprofit or public-sector leadership experience, and a strong background in youth development, workforce development, conservation, or environmental justice. The CEO will be responsible for setting the long-term direction, enhancing the development of young people, investing in staff and culture, raising the organization's visibility, and strengthening financial sustainability. This role demands a leader who can balance continuity with innovation, ensure operational excellence, and stability, and is committed to the values of integrity, equity, resilience, compassion, and a belief in the potential of young people. Key priorities for the next CEO include leading with vision and strategy, enhancing Corpsmember development, and investing in staff and culture. They must be a compelling communicator, with the ability to tell the organization's story in a way that attracts funders, engages policymakers, and energizes the community. The role also requires a leader with a proven track record in fundraising, cultivating donors, and building sustainable funding models.
