About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their mission-driven, faith-based organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, leading all financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role is not traditional; the ideal candidate will be a forward-looking, strategic finance leader, capable of operating beyond accounting to guide enterprise decision-making and bring clarity to a complex environment. Responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing financial insight for growth and long-term planning, and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The CFO will also be instrumental in modernizing the organization's financial approach and ensuring its long-term, sustainable growth. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree and CPA. A minimum of 15 years' progressive financial leadership experience is required, with a background in a complex, multi-entity or highly governed environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic financial leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to influence executive decision-making. Key skills and abilities include strategic thinking, executive presence, collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and change agility. The CFO will also be responsible for stakeholder management, operational excellence, and team development, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
