About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and collaborative Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services and Campaign Strategy. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the infrastructure that supports fundraising, including gift processing, prospect research, endowment services, advancement technology, donor relations, and business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of campaign management and reporting, and will lead and develop multiple teams of advancement professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. The role demands a strong leader who can ensure compliance with reporting standards, maintain advancement technologies, and partner with various offices to assure data integrity and meaningful donor stewardship. The ideal candidate for the Assistant Vice President position at the company will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience in development or advancement services, with a proven track record of supervising complex teams in a higher education setting. Extensive technical knowledge of advancement systems, organizational acumen, and the ability to align people, processes, and priorities are essential. An advanced degree and experience with Raiser's Edge NXT are strongly preferred. The role is not only about strategy but also about being the operational backbone of a department poised for significant expansion, and the candidate should be prepared to lead in a metrics-driven environment, ensuring the success of the company's philanthropic growth.
