About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be the chief process architect and operational backbone, responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of all business processes and procedures. This hands-on role requires a focus on making sure the organization operates with clear, written, and repeatable procedures, and the VP will be accountable for driving all operations, setting the operating rhythm, and ensuring that the team meets commitments and timelines. The role also involves coaching and mentoring portfolio company executives in operational rigor and strategic execution. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive operational leadership experience, with a strong background in process and procedure frameworks, particularly in the private equity or commercial real estate industry. The role demands exceptional accountability, strong operational and financial acumen, and outstanding written communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or relevant advanced degree. The ideal candidate will be process-obsessed, with a bias toward action and ownership of outcomes, and will demonstrate resilience, attention to detail, and a tireless commitment to follow-through. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other formal process improvement methodologies is a plus, as is a background in management consulting, internal audit, or operational excellence functions.
