About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Management Company Accounting to lead its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, delivering precise financial reporting, and leading the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. The VP will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, as well as managing audits and intercompany transactions with a focus on operational efficiency and accuracy. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years' accounting experience, preferably in management company accounting. Proficiency in GAAP-based financial reporting, advanced financial analysis techniques, and a strong knowledge of intercompany transactions, expense allocations, and fee reconciliations are essential. The role requires the ability to manage audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and proficiency in accounting software with a focus on process optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
