Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a preference for a background in banking, CDFI, or CDC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lending, underwriting, and risk management, as well as strong capital-raising and funder relationship skills. They must be a community-centered, relationship builder, and a visionary leader with the ability to guide the organization through economic and political shifts. Experience in government, public-sector, and policy fluency is also desired. The role demands a leader with high emotional intelligence, strong stakeholder diplomacy, and a data-informed, mission-driven decision-making approach. The CEO will be expected to champion the organization's impact, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead a diverse, high-performing team with a focus on professional growth and development.
