About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their executive team. The CNO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for the development, organization, and ongoing leadership of the nursing division. This includes strategic planning, integration of patient services practices, financial management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The successful candidate will be a proven nursing leader, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and motivated to make a meaningful impact on patient care and clinical outcomes. The role also involves working collaboratively with fellow CNOs to drive the implementation of best practices and enhance the quality of care across the communities served. Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have prior experience as a CNO in a similarly sized and complex hospital or health system. The ideal candidate will be execution-focused, comfortable in a fast-paced, plan-driven executive team, and adept at translating strategy into operational results. Strong leadership skills, particularly in fostering relationships, trust, and engagement within nursing teams, are essential. Experience in leading and implementing quality and culture improvement initiatives, as well as a background in Magnet/Pathways principles, is highly valued. The CNO will also be expected to have a working knowledge of the Georgia State Nursing Practice Act and State Board of Nursing Regulation.
