About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Clinical Operations. This executive will be tasked with the end-to-end operational performance and integration of the company's employed physician platform, with a focus on establishing a cohesive, enterprise-wide operating model. The role is pivotal in the transformation of the clinical operating platform, requiring the candidate to translate system strategy into executable operating models, standardized workflows, and measurable performance outcomes. Key responsibilities include providing executive leadership for operational performance, partnering with physician leaders for service line development, and leading financial and operational discipline for clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field, significant senior executive experience in ambulatory and physician enterprise operations, and a proven track record in integrating medical groups and standardizing operations. Deep understanding of ambulatory operations, physician compensation, and experience in preparing for population health and value-based care are essential. The role demands a leader with a relational, visible, and community-committed leadership style, capable of balancing operational rigor with cultural sensitivity. While a clinical background is an asset, it is not required. The successful candidate will be a seasoned healthcare operations executive with a pragmatic approach to integration and performance improvement, and the ability to foster strong collaboration in a dyad leadership model.
