About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new strategic plan that fosters innovation and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial stability of the institution, overseeing a wide range of business and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, investments, capital projects, human resources, payroll, risk management, legal and contractual matters, facilities management, and information technology. This executive will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the President and the Board of Trustees to ensure the College's long-term vision is supported by a comprehensive financial strategy. Applicants for the VPFA/CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in leading and supporting growth and innovation initiatives, with a minimum of 5 years' senior-level finance and administrative management experience. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial planning, experience in managing endowment funds, and a deep understanding of compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities also include overseeing risk management, legal services, and the management of IT and IT-related contracts. The VPFA/CFO will be expected to ensure the College's assets are managed effectively to support its long-term sustainability and to represent the institution at various professional and public meetings.
