About the Role

The Company is in need of an Associate Vice President for Fund Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of books and records for private investment funds and related accounts. This includes performing accounting and reconciliation for cash, investments, and asset transactions throughout the close cycle, as well as preparing monthly accruals, partner allocations, and calculations tied to distributions and capital activity. The role also involves producing periodic financial reports and performance analyses for both investors and internal stakeholders, and coordinating with external parties such as auditors, custodians, administrators, and service providers. Applicants must have the ability to manage complex fund structures and apply investment accounting guidance accurately. Strong reconciliation and analytical skills are essential for resolving variances and transaction issues. Previous experience with financing arrangements, leverage facilities, and their related accounting impacts is required. The role demands the capacity to handle detailed work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain financial results clearly. A background with at least 10 years in fund accounting, audit, or investment management environments, exposure to both public accounting and private investment operations, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a professional certification are necessary qualifications. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex engagements efficiently.
