About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Deputy Project Executive for Signals and Train Controls. The successful candidate will be tasked with the end-to-end management of Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) Centric with 5G Data Communications System (DCS) projects. This includes the full project lifecycle from definition and planning to procurement and execution, ensuring that all activities are in line with safety, efficiency, and budgetary requirements. The role involves monitoring project status, mitigating risks, and resolving issues, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders to minimize the impact on operations and the public. The Vice President, Deputy Project Executive will also be responsible for staff management, mentoring, and fostering a professional environment that encourages employee development. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 16 years of related experience, with at least 10 years in the management of train control systems or construction programs. Professional engineering or architecture licensure is desirable, and PMP and CCM certifications are preferred. The role requires significant experience in project management for major signals and train control, CBTC/PTC, and associated rail construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, high-profile environment.
