About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key player in defining and executing the company's financial strategy, with a focus on long-term success. This executive will work closely with the senior leadership team, particularly the President, to ensure financial integrity, discipline, and transparency. The role involves leading the development and execution of financial planning initiatives, providing clear financial analysis for business decisions, and overseeing all financial operations, including reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property and casualty insurance, with a deep understanding of both statutory and GAAP insurance reporting. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with a background in property and casualty insurance. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, and an MBA and/or CPA is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving accountability, discipline, and operational rigor, as well as the ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization are essential. Experience with financial systems and tools, particularly Oracle, PeopleSoft, and advanced Excel, is also a plus. The CFO will be responsible for leading a high-performing finance team, so experience in team development and management is important.
