Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams. - IV therapy/phlebotomy: peripheral line care/management. - Respiratory: nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management. - Isolation precautions.

Special Requests: - Locals must meet the 75 mile radius requirement.

Unit Details: - Acute Stroke Unit specializing in care of acute stroke patients, other neurological disorders, and acute medical patients. - Adjustable acuity delivery of care model focused on evidence-based stroke care during the primary prevention and acute care phases of stroke.

Shift & Scheduling: - Day/night rotation, 0700-1900/1900-0700. - Every other weekend.

Maximum consecutive days off: 10
