Job Description
Our client is looking for a mechanically skilled team member to service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. Potential candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Able to work in a team environment
Experience
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in field or technical degree with minimum of 1 year experience
Strong mechanical and basic electrical background as well as hydraulic knowledge
Experience in heavy equipment repair a plus
Must have valid Driver's License
