About the Role

Luxe Grooming Lounge is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking a skilled Barber or Stylist who is serious about building a career in a premium men’s grooming environment.

With growing demand and a focus on elevated service, we prioritize strong client relationships and support our team in building consistent, loyal books of business. This is a great fit for professionals who take pride in their craft and want to grow in a high-standard, client-focused setting.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality men’s haircuts and grooming services while providing strong consultations that guide each client’s look and experience. Educating clients on grooming products and recommending the right solutions is part of the standard.

Success in this role comes from consistency, rebooking every client before they leave, strong communication, and building long-term client relationships that grow your book over time.

Location: Royal Oak, Michigan conveniently located off Woodward Ave

What You’ll Do

Deliver high-quality haircuts, beard work, and grooming services
Provide thoughtful consultations and style recommendations
Create a consistent, elevated client experience
Build and retain your book through rebooking and referrals
Educate clients on grooming routines and retail products
Maintain a clean, organized workstation

What We’re Looking For

Active Michigan Barber or Cosmetology License
Experience in men’s grooming
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently (30-minute haircut pace preferred)
Ability to educate clients on products during service while demonstrating proper use
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles, with a focus on long-term client and shop growth

Bonus If You Have

A track record of client retention and book growth
Strong consultation and relationship-building skills
