We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Field Data Technician to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage structured cabling and network hardware. You will serve as our on-site technical expert, ensuring clean network environments and seamless data connectivity for commercial and retail clients.

Key Responsibilities
Cabling Infrastructure: Pull, route, and neatly dress Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.

Termination & Testing: Terminate RJ45 jacks, patch panels, and faceplates; test and certify lines using Fluke/continuity testers.

MDF/IDF Cleanups: Mount server racks, organize patch panels, and clean up disorganized network closets.

Hardware Deployment: Install and swap switches, routers, POS systems, WAPs, and IP cameras.

Remote Collaboration: Work with off-site network engineers to verify port activations and troubleshoot connectivity.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1 3+ years in structured cabling, low-voltage installation, or field IT support.

Tool Savvy: Proficient with punch-down tools, crimpers, tone-and-probe kits, and basic power tools.

Tech-Minded: Solid understanding of T568A/B color codes and basic networking concepts.

Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, working on ladders/lifts, and operating independently.

Reliability: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a professional, client-facing attitude.
