Job Summary
The Restaurant Shift Manager directs daily front-of-house (FOH) operations during assigned shifts. You will focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting a team of dedicated hospitality professionals. This role requires a hands-on leader who can solve problems quickly and keep the dining room running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Lead all Front of House operations during your shift, ensuring seamless service and an outstanding guest experience in a high-volume setting.
Manage, train, and guide a team of FOH staff members to foster a positive, high-performance work culture.
Uphold the highest standards of service, food quality, and brand integrity at all times.
Collaborate closely with the culinary and management teams to ensure operational harmony and smooth communication between the kitchen and the dining room.
Handle guest relations effectively, resolve any issues promptly, and build long-term customer loyalty.
Monitor daily shift performance, ensuring the floor is adequately staffed and operational targets are met.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a shift leader, supervisor, or manager in a full-service restaurant environment.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated track record of building and motivating successful teams.
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including basic cost control and scheduling.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
