Your job as a Roustabout is an entry-level worker in the oil and gas industry responsible for performing various manual labor tasks on drilling rigs and production platforms. Roustabouts play a crucial role in supporting drilling and production operations by assisting with equipment maintenance, handling materials, and ensuring the overall efficiency of rig operations.

Your Responsibilities are.
Assist in maintaining drilling rig equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.

Load and unload drilling supplies, equipment, and materials onto the rig using cranes, forklifts, or manual labor. Transport materials to and from storage areas and assist with inventory management.

Assist with rigging operations, including setting up and dismantling equipment, handling drilling tools and pipes, and securing loads during lifting and hoisting operations.

Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and drills to promote a culture of safety on the rig.

Be prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including fires, spills, or medical incidents, by following established emergency response procedures and protocols.

Once hired, you'll undergo training to familiarize yourself with rig operations, safety procedures, and specific job duties. Training may include equipment familiarization, safety protocols, and hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced crew members.
