Hiring: Medical Director Location: Westland, MI Salary: $90,000 - $120,000/yr Schedule: Full-time Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Medical Director to provide psychiatric leadership, oversee clinical care, and support behavioral health services across a diverse patient population. This role is critical in guiding clinical standards, ensuring quality care, and supporting both in-person and telehealth service delivery. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical documentation Prescribe and monitor medications and review lab results as needed Offer clinical oversight and consultation to multidisciplinary teams Coordinate psychiatric services across the organization Support development of clinical procedures and protocols Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives Lead meetings and contribute to care planning and treatment reviews Provide training and mentorship to clinical staff Assist with recruitment and supervision of psychiatric personnel Qualifications & Requirements Doctorate (MD or DO) required with active Michigan license Board certification in psychiatry required 5+ years of experience with child and adult populations Experience with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services Strong knowledge of behavioral health systems and care delivery Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation Malpractice insurance required
