Technician Manager

Hiring: Technician Manager Location: Elmhurst, IL Salary: $70,000+/yr Schedule: Full-time Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Technician Manager to oversee biomedical equipment service operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure high-quality repair and maintenance of medical equipment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to support operational efficiency and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support a team of biomedical technicians Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment Assign and monitor daily work orders to meet turnaround goals Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with service standards Train and mentor technicians on best practices and procedures Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor coordination Support audits, compliance checks, and safety reviews Collaborate with operations leadership to improve processes Act as escalation point for technical and workflow issues Qualifications & Requirements Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training required 5+ years of biomedical or durable medical equipment experience 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and related equipment Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment Experience managing teams and tracking production metrics Understanding of operations and P&L concepts Strong communication and organizational skills
