RBT (Register Behavioral Technician)

***Paid admin rate for all administrative task/non-billable tasks***
***Starting rate for the RBT Position will be $18 an hour*** (after 90 days there will be a raise through a Performance Review)
***40 hour Online Training must be completed before interviewing***

Job Description:
Implement and collect accurate data on client specific skills acquisition and behavior reduction programming.
Implement the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and treatment goals based on supervision sessions provided by the supervisor. You must have 5% of supervision in a month.
Provide suggestions and collaborate with supervisor and team members on new goals.
Collaborate effectively and efficiently with team members on new goals for the client, materials needed, and any changes to the client's program.
Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Debrief the parents regarding their child's session with professionalism.
Complete and maintain session notes in PortiaPro on a daily basis.
Graph and track data on Portia Pro daily (if applicable)
Collaborate with team members and supervisors if goals need to be updated.
Create new materials for clients as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Complete assigned client projects or administration tasks assigned and approved by BCBA.
Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
Educate and teach clients new skills in communication, social interaction, and self-care.
Uphold confidentiality standards related to medical records and client information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Experience
Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly preferred.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior management strategies.
Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, or feeding is a plus.
Familiarity with special education practices and working within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and informing treatment adjustments.
Understanding of medical terminology, documentation procedures, and care planning related to behavioral health is beneficial.
