Additional responsibilities will include performing (and assisting physicians during) endoscopy procedures and high-level disinfection practices in Scope Room; anticipating physician needs; and assisting with endoscopy devices and endoscopes before, during, and after procedures.</i></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>This position will have the opportunity to rotate between our inpatient endoscopy department (Outpatient Diagnostics) and Mercy's new outpatient digestive health institute (Kathryn Ann Meinders)!</b></span></p><p></p><p><b>Overview:</b></p><p><span>Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
