CDL A Port Driver | $30/hr | Newark NJTransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support Local operations based in Newark, NJ. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Port Driver Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am Start, Home Daily
- Pay: $28/hr + OT after 40, est. $1,500/week
- Route Type: Local, including NY deliveries
- Handling: No-touch
CDL A Port Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- TWIC Card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Port Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
