Operated in partnership with Lifepoint Health, Duke Health, and WakeMed, our interdisciplinary team is dedicated to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.</p><p> </p><p><strong>How you'll contribute</strong></p><p>A <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> who excels in this role:</p><ul><li>Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs </li><li>Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions </li><li>Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient </li><li>Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record </li><li>Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient </li><li>Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments </li><li>Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately </li><li>Collaborates with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members </li><li>Educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals </li><li>Promotes patient safety and participates in quality improvement initiatives </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><p>Applicants should have a current state RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma). Additional requirements include:</p><ul><li>CPR/BLS certification required </li><li>ACLS certification preferred </li><li>CRRN certification preferred </li><li>Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p>3x12, Nights  (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends</p><p> </p><p><strong>Why join us</strong></p><p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
