Physical Therapist - Travel Contract
Physical Therapist — Outpatient — Mesa, AZ
Treat patients recovering from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient clinic in Mesa, AZ. Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document care according to clinic and regulatory standards. Provide patient, family, and student education. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies. Foster a safe work environment by following safe patient handling, infection control, and materials handling procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Arizona physical therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating orthopedic outpatient caseloads preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation and writing goals, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient clinic experience in orthopedics.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling programs and performance improvement initiatives.

- Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
