Onsite Contract THERAPY

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Carson City, NV, working in an outpatient clinic treating orthopedic injuries. Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal conditions, communicate treatment plans and evaluations to the medical team, and report patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians. Provide assistance to colleagues in identifying clinical issues. Applicants must hold the appropriate degree and licensure for physical therapy practice in the state of Nevada.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Nevada physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Ability to evaluate and document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in outpatient clinic settings.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and reporting to specialty physicians.


Assignment Details

  • Behavior characteristics: Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
