Project Planner
Summary
The purpose of this position is to plan project activities by creating and maintaining Project timelines and tracking matrices. This position is responsible for aligning and kicking off the team on the base plan of each project won, schedule and run weekly meetings to report status to management with highlighting on critical issues, activities trending late and bringing attention to upcoming activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list)
- Participate in Level One Meetings with the Program Manager to review timing of the project in order to create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based timeline.
- Work closely with Project Manager and other departments to ensure critical changes that affect the project timeline are adjusted on the project timeline.
- Create various reports to portray the actual status of a
- Present and explain plans, reports, and findings to management.
- Ensure project teams are continuously updating the timelines and tracking progress in different tools
- Create and run reports for communication purposes to the Project Teams for the One Line Meeting.
- Manage and execute initiatives that drives efficiencies in project execution through different phases
