Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.<p></p><h1><span style="color:#005cb9"><b>Position Details:</b></span></h1><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-2"><b><u>Licensed Practical Nurse</u></b></span></h1><div><p><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO</b></span></p><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Department: Medical Telemetry</b></span></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Status: Part-Time - 12hrs/week</b></span></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Shift: 12 Hour (Nights - 1900-0730)</b></span></h2><p></p><h1></h1><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></h1><ul><li><p><b>Education</b>: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.</p></li><li><p><b>Experience</b>: Experience preferred.</p></li><li><p><b>Certifications</b>: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.</p></li><li><p><b>Licensure</b>: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.</p></li><li><p><b>Physical</b> <b>Requirements/Demands</b>: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
