Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.<p></p><h1><span style="color:#005cb9"><b>Position Details:</b></span></h1><p></p><h1><b><u>Facility Float Pool LPN</u></b></h1><h1><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO</b></span></h1><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Department: Float Pool</b></span></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week</b></span></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-2"><b>Shift: 12 Hour NIghts (7:00pm - 7:30am)</b></span></h2><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis"><b>*** Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus - No Contract Required ***</b></span></h1><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></h1><ul><li><p><b>Education</b>: High school diploma or GED equivalent and graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.</p></li><li><p><b>Licensure</b>: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current Missouri LPN license and must meet all MO State Board of Nursing requirements.</p></li><li><p><b>Experience</b>: Must have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience in acute care. Six months of this experience should be within the last year.</p></li><li><p><b>Certifications</b>: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri. Other unit specific certifications as required.</p></li><li><p><b>Physical</b> <b>Requirements/Demands</b>: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
