We’re Hiring: Sr SDET (AI-Augmented) Location: Blue Bell, PA Duration: Contract W2 Only --- About the Role: We are seeking experienced Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) who leverage AI as a core part of their workflow. This role involves working on high-impact platform initiatives, building automated test solutions at speed using modern AI-assisted development tools. --- Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain API and integration tests using Karate framework (DSL, JUnit5, Maven, Cucumber, JDBC) * Build UI automation scripts using Playwright with Python * Create CLI-based test tools in Python for API testing, data validation, and log parsing * Integrate test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality delivery across environments * Generate and manage synthetic test data for comprehensive test coverage * Develop contract tests for microservices deployed on Kubernetes/OpenShift * Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and shift-left testing practices * Debug pipeline failures and optimize test execution using AI-assisted tools --- AI-Driven Expectations: * Ability to generate complete Karate feature file suites from OpenAPI specifications * Build Python CLI tools using AI-assisted coding tools * Use AI tools to accelerate debugging and test development * Review and refine AI-generated code to maintain high-quality standards --- Required Skills: * 3+ years of experience in SDET or automation engineering * Strong expertise in Karate framework and API testing * Experience with Playwright and Python for UI automation * Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and utilities * Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines * Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift * Experience with Git-based workflows (Bitbucket preferred) * Active use of AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code --- Nice to Have: * Experience with Oracle/SQL and JDBC-based validations * Familiarity with Spring Boot testing * Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Kibana * Knowledge of Helm, GitOps, or messaging systems like RabbitMQ
