Materials Procurement & Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following: • Manage the procurement process for materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing, and working closely with vendors to ensure material availability. • Utilize SAP and MES systems to monitor inventory levels, track materials, and manage orders to ensure seamless production operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of material procurement with production schedules and project timelines. • Oversee logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks. • Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and inventory reconciliation within SAP and MES systems to maintain up-to-date records for material management. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on materials science, supply chain management, and logistics. • At least 1 year of experience in materials procurement or logistics-related roles, with practical experience using SAP and MES systems.
