Savvy Staffing has a 3 Month Clerk Secretary Position in Cranston, RI! Position Summary The Administrative Support Specialist assists the Assistant Medical Director and Director of Nursing by performing moderately complex administrative and supportive tasks. This role supports the implementation and administration of major projects and programs that impact all departments and state government agencies. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for major department projects and programs. Manage staffing-related tasks, including backfill requests, scheduling, and position changes. Perform general clerical duties such as word processing, filing, answering phones, and responding to emails. Coordinate and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas and supporting documents. Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation. Assist leadership with day-to-day operational support and special assignments as needed. Complete transcription and prepare written correspondence or reports as requested. To develop and complete related work as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent clerical and administrative abilities. Knowledge of scheduling processes and general office operations. Accurate transcription skills.
