VOICE UP PUBLISHING, INC.
INTERNSHIP TRACK B · THE BRIDGE BUILDER
100% Remote · Academic Credit Available · Spring · Summer · Fall 2026
You connect the dots.
You open the doors.
One conversation at a time, you build something bigger than yourself.
For natural connectors who want to build movements not just programs.

THIS IS FOR YOU
Some people naturally see connections where others see separation. They walk into a space, listen carefully, and understand who needs to meet, what needs to happen, and how to move things forward. If that’s you this is your role.
Voice Up was not built through large-scale campaigns or top-down systems. It was built through one conversation at a time. The founder showed up consistently listening, connecting, and creating alignment between people, institutions, and ideas that were already present but not yet unified.
Those conversations became relationships.
Those relationships became partnerships.
Those partnerships became a growing national and global network.
This internship places you directly inside that network.
Voice Up has established relationships across 257 verified higher education institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs), where the behavioral health workforce gap is most urgent.
Your role is to help expand and strengthen this network not through mass outreach alone, but through intentional, relationship-driven engagement. You will help ensure that the communities most impacted are not the last to benefit, but the first.
You will also help coordinate ongoing conversations with international partners in Bangladesh and India organizations that have spent decades building community-centered approaches to healing. These are not transactional relationships. They are built on trust, mutual learning, and sustained dialogue.
The Internship/Share Your Talents program has already shown that when people are given a structured path into behavioral health work, they take it at 4.4 times the rate of those without access. Your role is to help build more of those pathways.
This is not theoretical work. You are helping build the infrastructure that allows this model to scale one conversation, one relationship, one partnership at a time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build Meaningful Institutional Relationships
Engage with universities, especially HBCUs and MSIs, to connect students and faculty to Voice Up’s research and internship ecosystem. Focus on depth of relationship, not just volume of outreach.
Coordinate Global Conversations
Support recurring sessions with international partners by preparing materials, capturing insights, and helping translate global learning into local application. These conversations shape how the model evolves.
Lead Purpose-Driven Outreach
Design and execute outreach efforts that bring new participants into Voice Up programs with intentional focus on underserved and underrepresented communities.
Strengthen the Infrastructure
Document partnerships, track engagement, and maintain clear records that support long-term sustainability, grant applications, and institutional trust.

WHY THIS MATTERS
Most systems are built from the top down. Voice Up was built from the ground up through conversations that revealed what was already working within communities.
The founder recognized that people were already helping others every day but those contributions were not being seen, named, or connected into a broader system. The solution was not to replace what existed, but to connect it.
This is where you come in.
As a Bridge Builder, you are not just coordinating outreach you are helping weave together a network of people and institutions that can collectively address one of the most urgent challenges in our time: expanding access to behavioral health support.
Every email you send, every meeting you coordinate, every relationship you nurture contributes to something larger.
One conversation becomes a connection.
One connection becomes a partnership.
One partnership becomes systemic change.
