Currently, we are seeking Elementary Homeroom Teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year. Basic Requirements: Residing in Korea Have an F-type working VISA or Korean citizenship Be able to be registered as a teacher with the ministry of education At least two years of teaching experience Starting date: July 17 Conditions: Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM Vacation: all national holidays, 4 personal/sick days per year, 2 weeks in winter, 4 weeks in summer Free cafeteria lunch Four insurances and severance Starting at 2.8 million KRW per month (negotiable based primarily on education and years of experience; there are new-hire pay scale guidelines in place). Housing or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW for foreign nationals. Teaching Age: Grades 1-5 Breaks: teach a daily maximum of 5 out of 7 classes possible in the schedule (not including after-school clubs) Class Size: Approximately 10 - 18 students per class Teacher Training: Initial Teacher Training and Professional Development Days Teaching Staff: 30+ Teachers Job Title: Elementary Homeroom Teacher At SIE, students will have a full and balanced education to think globally. SIE uses the Common Core State Standards curriculum and immersive English learning. Students are encouraged to be multilingual, and incorporate Korean culture into their activities. Roles and Responsibilities • Have experience with early years education • Plan, prepare and conduct classes at the scheduled times • Record, evaluate and communicate students’ performances in an objective, fair and timely manner • Comply with SIE policies, standards, rules, regulations and procedures of the institution • Model honesty, good social skills, civic responsibility, fairness and ethical conduct • Work collaboratively with SIE administrators and fellow teachers • Participation in SIE events and club activities Contact : .
