Nurse Clinician - Wound Care
Unit Description: -The Wound Care Nurse Clinician is a global role primarily responsible for the bedside clinical care for patients requiring consultation, assessment, plan of care and treatment of pressure injuries and wounds. -A collaborative team member and informal leader that applies specialized knowledge through clinical care, teaching, consultation, research and guidance of nursing personnel and other members of the health care team. -The nurse clinician must have attention to detail, exemplary communication skills and a high level of professionalism as they engage with multidisciplinary colleagues across the organization. Experience with policy development, facilitating committees, data analysis and monitoring, and nursing/staff education is preferred. Coordination of care extends across the University of Vermont Medical Center and to the outside community. - State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license required. BSN Required. Master's degree preferred. -WOCN certification preferred. -Other applicable certifications will be considered. -
- Previous wound care experience either as a bedside clinician or would care team required.
