Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a -Travel RN - -Step down
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p (12x3) 36 hours per week
Length: 8 weeks
Weekend Requirement- minimum of 2 weekends/month (could be more). Float within areas of competency (med/surg, tele, obs). Omnicell med system. SBAR communication. 24hr orientation. Navy scrubs (not provided). No locals within 50 miles.

• Skills/Experience REQUIRED: MS/Tele; Telemetry; PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; Management/Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Telemetry -on the unit monitoring; Use of Rapid Response Teams; Post MI; Feeding tube care and management; Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management; Renal failure; Accessing Ports; BPA; Central line care/management; Peripheral Line Care/Management; PICC line management; Starting IVs; Heparin Protocols; Manage Cardiac drips- no titration; Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration; CVA; Care of Ventilated Patient; Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac; External CPAP/BIPAP; High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC); Interpretation of ABGs; Nasal Cannula; Oxygen face masks; Non-invasive airway management; Tracheostomy Management; Isolation Precautions; Wound Care/Wound VacAHA BLSACLS
• NIHSSMeditech Experience preferredPost Cardiac Angiogram; IV insulin protocols; Titration of Insulin drips; Titrate Cardiac drips; Pre/Post neurosurgery preferred
