Bioinformatics Engineer II

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Software Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities

Engineer, deploy, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and reporting applications
Design technical solutions in collaboration with bioinformatics and IT operations teams
Participate in scrum ceremonies and work with stakeholders to clarify workflows and requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficient in Python coding
Intermediate-to-advanced experience in Linux environments
Intermediate-to-advanced experience with relational databases
Proficiency in software engineering best practices, including version control and unit testing
