Patient Safety Consultant

A company is looking for a Patient Safety Consultant to enhance patient safety initiatives and quality improvement in healthcare.



Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with staff and leadership to implement and measure patient safety initiatives
Proactively identify risks and analyze safety events to improve patient care outcomes
Act as a subject matter expert on best practices in patient safety and engage stakeholders in change management


Required Qualifications

Master's degree in a Health Sciences field, Healthcare Administration, Human Factors engineering, or Business Administration
Minimum of five years of healthcare experience
Experience in quality improvement and patient safety activities
Current licensure in area of clinical expertise is preferred
Certifications such as CPHQ or CPPS are preferred
