Shipping Manager $75k yr

We have an immediate need for a Shipping Manager to handle the shipping and receiving area from top to bottom, audit complete orders, assist carriers with paperwork, schedule picks-ups, and keep warehouse clean and orderly. This is a first shift position.

Responsibilities:

Manage Shipping Department personnel and provide training
Adjust, correct, manage, and perform cycle counts on inventory
Handle all outgoing and incoming freight shipments and customer return shipments
Oversee staging of all products, material and processing flow, and procedures
Schedule expedites and after-hours shipments
Work closely with Customer Service to ensure customer's needs are being met
Assist in monthly planning of shipments
Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have at least 5 years Warehouse, Logistics, and Transportation experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to understand and interpret shipping instructions
Must have a coaching system of management
Must have the ability to analyze information to identify problems or discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
Must have strong math, organizational, communications, and people skills
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform under pressure, and meet customer requirements and deadlines
Must be highly safety-conscious and efficient
Must be able to follow all safety procedures
Must have the ability to maintain a clean and safe work area
