A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform.



Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure for efficient data processing, storage, and serving
Develop reliable real-time and batch data pipelines and identify bottlenecks in the data ecosystem
Guide and mentor engineers while driving data governance, quality, and security across systems



Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software engineering focused on distributed systems or data infrastructure
Expertise in designing and optimizing data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Spark, or similar
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Rust
Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems and data modeling principles
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools, as well as understanding of data governance best practices
