Who is :Recruiting from Scratch is a talent firm that focuses on placing the best candidate for our clients. Our team is 100% remote and we work with teams across North America, South America, and Europe to help them hire.Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000 base plus 0.1-0.3% equity.As our client's first sales hire, you will work closely with the leadership team to shape and execute the strategic direction of our client's sales initiatives in the US. Our client is looking for a results-driven leader with a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales who will help lay the foundations of sales strategy & organization. The ideal candidate will come in, learn how our client has done founder-sales and achieved rapid ARR growth, and build upon the existing sales playbook to develop a repeatable sales motion from sourcing pipeline outbound, to first call, to closed won. They will also be a key contributor in defining what the sales organization will look like as our client continues to grow and expand.This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the fast-growing AI collaboration intelligence market.Role responsibilities:
  • Acquire new logos and develop and implement innovative sales strategies to surpass revenue targets.
  • Build pipeline via outbound, inbound, conferences, etc.
  • Run sales cycles from first meeting to close with an annual quota.
  • Evaluate market landscape, trends, and dynamics to translate overarching plans into focused sales initiatives, partnerships, and campaigns.
  • Work closely with founders, product & engineering to ensure a feedback loop between what our client hears in the field and the development team.
  • Continuously enhance the sales methodology by integrating insights into playbooks, templates, and best practices. Identify process enhancements to streamline sales productivity and ensure consistency.Candidate requirements:
    • 2 - 5 years of experience as an AE, closing mid-market deals in B2B SaaS. Top performer.
    • At least 2 years of AE experience at the same company.
    • Self-source > 60% of their deals as an AE.
    • Consistently exceeded quota.
    • Startup experience.
    • Has sold $20K - $40K ACV deals consistently.
    • Live within commuting distance to San Francisco.
    • Authorized to work in the US.Nice-to-haves:
      • Has sold to go-to-market teams and leaders before (bonus points if sold to sales engineering teams and leaders).
