Principal FPGA Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal FPGA Engineer to design and implement FPGAs for wireless systems.



Key Responsibilities:

Perform architecture trade-off analysis based on design requirements
Develop and model FPGA-based DSP functions using MATLAB
Support circuit card development and design integration across functional teams


Required Qualifications:

BSEE plus 8 years or MSEE plus 6 years of related experience
Proficient in RTL design (VHDL preferred) and experience with AMD or Intel FPGAs
Experience in developing digital signal processing functions targeting FPGA or ASIC platforms
Experience with logic simulation and design implementation through timing closure
Strong design, implementation, and debug experience
