Senior Vice President Trading

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President of Trading & Algorithm to join their Commercial team.



Key Responsibilities

Develop and direct the energy trading function for asset optimization of merchant battery energy storage projects
Oversee algorithmic trading and software team, implementing processes for optimizing energy revenue in Day Ahead and Real Time markets
Lead reporting of market positions and P&L, and advise on improvements in modeling asset positions


Required Qualifications

Minimum BA/BS in electrical engineering, economics, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
7+ years in North American electricity and natural gas markets trading roles with increasing responsibility
Knowledge of trading DA-RT markets in ERCOT, ISO-NE, PJM, and other RTOs
Experience supervising and managing others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
