### Job Summary
Manny Construction is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the company’s financial records and support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
### Key Responsibilities
* Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and company accounts
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expense summaries
* Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing
* Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation
* Assist with tax preparation and financial audits
* Manage purchase orders, vendor payments, and project-related expenses
* Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information
### Qualifications
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Construction industry experience is an advantage but not required
