Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to provide evidence-based medical reviews for patient care.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct evidence-based medical case reviews for medical necessity
Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with referring providers regarding treatment appropriateness
Collaborate with a team of physicians to ensure quality patient care through evidence-based decision making


Required Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. with an active U.S. state medical license and board certification in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience post residency/fellowship
Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
Ability to commit to a set weekly work schedule (Monday through Friday)
Strong computer skills and ability to work autonomously with automated processes
