Primary Care Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Primary Care Clinic Coding Specialist II to accurately code various medical services.



Key Responsibilities:

Accurately code evaluation and management, surgery, emergency room, and other services
Complete daily records and reports related to coding activities
Identify trends and potential issues in coding and communicate with the coding manager



Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of relevant coding experience in healthcare settings
Possession of a recognized coding certification (e.g., CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, or CCS-P)
Understanding of healthcare billing practices and compliance
Knowledge of coding guidelines and reimbursement systems, including Medicare policies
